the wake.....

christmas came and went without war. without anything in fact i think it was the most peaceful christmas ive had here. the cat has settled back into her routene, she's been allowed in the house by my wife quite alot over the last few days. this, i knew wasnt going to last long and it didnt. the cat had a bout of the runs and she was banished. guess she always knew she would be at some point but i think she was expecting more of a shot at it. she's safely tucked away in my studio safe and warm enough.
its going to be a tough year i can see it coming like a train hurtling down the tracks while i'm tied to them 1/2 a mile down.
good luck all, ding ding....round 2.

christmas day.....

ok, so what does this day actually mean to me? on one side of me i am repulsed at the whole commercialism of it, the increased annual spending trap forcing more and more parents almost to the brink of debt, some quite a way over it just to meet their childrens even increased expectations. on the other half of me, the christian side is glad that another year has almost gone without anyone really close to me dying, that my family are all ok and my children are all well and developing as they should.
my eldest daughter got a wireless laptop computer so i will be fighting her for a decent internet connection aswell as my wife. my youngest got a complete lunby dolls house with some other plastic stuff. the cat got treats, the wife got money and im getting a bass guitar in the sales in the new year.
all well and plodding on.
happy christmas.

the cat came back

after 10 days away, my cat, tiger-feet came home. she looked somewhat worse for wear and hungry but alive and well and pleased to be back. my studio really hadnt been the same without the sleeping cat in the corner turning her ear backwards when i hit a bum note!
its the day before christmas and all is done. presents wrapped and everything ok, just hope me and the mrs dont create world war 3. happy holidays!!
