"yeee har and all that" cried Bob as a bedraggled Spot crawled into view. "Spots Back!"
"where have you been spot?" asked Bob,
Spot didnt answer but by the tired look in his eyes, the funny way he was walking and the wry smile he offered Bob realised it was bitching season.
"you had us all worried Spot and all the time you were getting your end away!" Bob shook his head and felt rather silly at the emergency situation he created. Spot was growing up, he had discovered girls, Bob needed to up his game.
He assembled the members of the "Lets find Spot campaign" and explained the situation. while Suzi tutted and Mummy looked rather disapprovingly at him Spot looked rather sheepish, if thats possible for a dog but his conquests kept his spirits up. The men of the group were secretly proud of spot and would spoil him in due course.
Bob thanked everyone for their efforts and best wishes and just as he was getting to the bit were Spot would nod his head when Bob assured them it wouldn't happen again Postman Pat chipped in that he thought one of the babies had answered another `call of nature` and the group was dispersed, but not before a big thank you was given out to Daddy for preparing the food.
All was well, spot was found.
